Notice of Adoption of Model Local Law and Subordinate Local Law

At its Ordinary Meeting held on 27 September 2023, Council resolved to Make the following Local Laws:

  1. Model Local Law No. 5 (Local Government Controlled Areas, Facilities and Roads) 2023
  2. Subordinate Local Law No. 5 (Local Government Controlled Areas, Facilities and Roads) 2023

Model Local Law No. 5 (Local Government Controlled Areas, Facilities and Roads) 2023 and Subordinate Local Law No.5 (Local Government Controlled Areas, Facilities and Roads) 2023 protects the health and safety of persons using local government controlled areas, facilities, infrastructure and roads and preserves features of the natural and built environment and other aspects of the amenity of local government controlled areas, facilities, infrastructure and roads.

A copy of each Model Local Law and Subordinate Local Law may be inspected and purchased at Council’s Office.
