Have your say – let Council know about flood issues in Community!
Council, along with consultants BMT are undertaking further flood studies to help develop a flood emergency plan for Kowanyama. The survey will help the team understand more about historic and current flooding issues that are experienced across the Community. The information will also assist with developing future projects to minimise the risk of flooding and help Kowanyama be better prepared for weather events into the future.
